Following is a description of peripheral vascular disease, which is commonly diagnosed by angiography.
 

Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) A condition of blockages in the arteries in the pelvis and legs, usually caused by artherosclerosis, which causes pain in the legs with walking (claudication). This condition also can occasionally affect the arms.
